Indiax Webstat now features CNIL consent-exemption for website analytics

2026-04-22 09:42

A new feture of Webstat is CNIL compliance. Clients who use Webstat for analytics can now easily comply with the criteria established by CNIL.

CNIL allows website analytics trackers to operate without user consent if they are used solely for anonymous, internal audience measurement (e.g., traffic monitoring, A/B testing) and comply with strict conditions. Key requirements include: limiting data use to the publisher's own site, preventing cross-site tracking, restricting cookie lifespan to 13 months, and retaining data for no more than 25 months.

Indiax Webstat is a web analytics tool.
